Come Visit St. James
September 7, 2014
This a great time to visit St. James and see what why we are the church with the warm heart. We are planning activities to help visitors and guests learn more about our church and what we do. Come for church services at East or West and stay or return for lunch and much more. Lunch will be served 11am-1pm and activities 11am-2pm.;
Lunch will be served outside St. James East with cake and ice cream in the fellowship hall. There also will be lots more including a silent auction, puppet show, crafts, and kids activities including a bouncy house.
Come, see why many refer to us as "the church with the warm heart."&Whether you prefer upbeat, contemporary worship services, or something more traditional is your style, St. James United Methodist Church has something for everyone.
We offer a variety of Sunday morning worship styles and times for you at two locations.
- St. James East: we offer traditional worship services at both 8:15 and 9:45 a.m. These services are in English and feature our organist/pianist, chancel choir, and the great hymns of the faith. We also offer a Hispanic worship at 11:30 a.m. This Spanish speaking service is filled with great songs, fellowship, and preaching.
- St. James West: we offer a contemporary worship service at 10:00 a.m. This English speaking service is led by a praise team and we sing contemporary Christian music with some traditional hymns arranged for the band. The use of projector and screen allow us to utilize a lot of multi-media in the services.
Child care is offered at all four worship services.
Join us for services at St. James East or West to discover why we are "the church with the warm heart."
